von Oliver Kube (24.09.2009) Sieben Jahre gingen die Ausnahmemusiker um Mega-Bassist Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth) und Wundergitarrist Paul Gilbert (Racer-X) getrennte Wege bis sie ihre ungebrochene Popularität im Land der aufgehenden Sonne zu einem dortigen Bühnen-Comeback nötigte. Für alle Fans, die den Weg nach Japan nicht auf sich nehmen konnten, gibt es nun die komplette Show mit allen Hits und diversen Überraschungen in Form von The Who- bzw. Deep Purple-Covern aus der Konserve. Nachdem diese mit einer furiosen Interpretation von "Shyboy" (im Original von Sheehans erster Band Talas) ausklingt, legt das Quartett noch drei Studiotracks nach. Neben einer Akustik-Variante ihres Mega-Hits "To be with you" sind dies das nette, aber nicht wirklich nötige Argent-Cover "Hold your head up" und das sehr gute "Next time around". Speziell Letzteres macht Hoffnung auf ein reguläres, neues Album. Parallel erscheint eine Doppel-DVD, die nicht nur das gesamte Konzert in bewegten Bildern sowie die Audio-Bonustracks bringt, sondern dazu noch einen Videoclip und einen Akustik-Auftritt im Tokioer Hardrock Café.
