Student Kagome doesn't believe in the stories of the past - until she is dragged into a well on her 15th birthday by a mysterious woman. Suddenly, she finds herself in medieval Japan and meets the half demon Inuyasha, who is in somewhat of a pickle. Good for him that Kagome came along! On the other hand, it's not all that good as the girl seems to be a reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo and bear the "Jewel of the four souls". Inuyasha wants this juwel all for himself. When the precious object is destroyed during a demon attack, he has to pair up with Kagome to find the pieces. Can she tolerate Inuyasha's big mouth for long?
